Web/Comics

Web comics, like regular comics, are a way to get some comical relief, or have something to do if you're bored. Some web comics even tell a story. I have been an avid reader of comics ever since I was a little kid and web comics were a natural transition, once I got on the Internet. I still read comics off-line too, of course. This page will be a list of the web comics I read, as well as some of my thoughts on them. They may contain spoilers; you've been warned.

Contents

Non-adult

I figured I'd give you the family-friendly ones first... If you're looking for “harder” stuff though, the adult web comics I read are at the bottom of the page.

Homestar Runner

This is not really a comic. It's more like a cartoon-series. It feels like a comic, since it typically has weekly updates, but differs from comics in that it is animation instead; short clips (and a few longer ones) of the characters in many different situations. The main characters are Homestar Runner, (of course) Strong Bad and The Cheat. My favorite characters are Homestar Runner, Pom-Pom, Strong Sad, The Cheat and Strong Bad. If you yet have not heard of Homestar Runner, you sure have missed out for a long time. Go watch it right now!

VG Cats

Ctrl + Alt + Del — Tragically l337

This comic is mandatory for any computer and/or games fanatic. My favorite character, without doubt, is Ethan. Oh, how he makes me crack up sometimes. The comic both makes fun of nerds and non-nerds. The comic also has a tendency to break the fourth wall quite often, but it's done in a way that is rather amusing, so I'm not bothered. It's part of the comic's charm.

Adult

I don't take any responsibilities for the links below. They contain material that is Not Safe For Work, and that should probably not be viewed by minors or people who are easily offended. You have been warned.

Ghastly's Ghastly Comic

This comic is about the two tentacle monsters Glemph and Nort. At least originally. They are the main tentacle monsters. They have completely different personalities. Glemph is repelled by the otherwise notorious concept of tentacle monsters raping human females. Nort, on the other hand, wants to live out this concept, but always fails in some way or another. Then, to fulfill the picture, we have Kiki, a woman who has a tentacle-rape fetish.

My name is Kiki ... and I love tentacle rape

Kiki
Of course, since neither of our two main tentacle monsters really want or are able to, she gets rather frustrated.

There are also a lot of other funny characters and situations in this comic, like the Drunk and Bitter Jesus; Freddy, the she-male; Chick-Boy, the homophobic, frantically Christian guy… and many more.

Purple Pussy

I would not say this comic is well drawn, but it certainly has my kind of humor. The main character, as you may have guessed, is Purple Pussy. She is rude, mean and loves to argue and fight. She has a girlfriend called Betty Bunny. Betty is mostly a nice person, quite the opposite of Purple, although she can be quite mean and evil too sometimes. Then there is Poopy Puppy, the puppy who loves feces, Foxy Fox, who has sex with everything that moves, Shelly Squirrel, whom nobody likes and who is miserable constantly, and last, Roofie Racoon—who happens to be my favorite character—the most geeky of the group, who loves playing video games, and is generally nerdy.

This comic is rather sick and twisted, and although slightly less wicked than Ghastly, I suggest you do not view this if you can't tolerate sick and twisted humor. This comic used to update three times a week, but has now ended.

Sexy Losers

This is a comic which purpose is to make humor out of sexual situations. It easily succeeds at this task. There are no real main characters in this comic, as it revolves around several different story lines at the same time. My favorite storylines are Suicide Girl, Mike's Left Hand and Kenta's Horny Mom. Unfortunately hardly ever updates anymore. (Last time it updated was July 22, 2007, the time before that was June 8, 2007, and the time before that was December 8, 2005...) The archives are good and long, though.

Slipshine

This is not a single comic, but a collection of adult comics. I'm sure you'll find something you like on there.
